Major news that I found interesting is that since the subprime mortgage bond market is spiralling down, more pple are now interested in investing in equity market.

A brief look at world economies

"Beijing raised the limits for overseas investment by Chinese insurance companies on Wednesday to 15 per cent of their assets" making more money available to enter global markets. (so is it more investment coming in from china to US - i.e further appreciation of chinese renminbi. but then again china is known for keeping their currency level low. and i think it will continue to be undervalued)


ok so now im going to pick 3 stocks from the list of earnings taht are supposed to comeout tommorow based on my research. im using long strategy and as time goes by i will probably short sell too. this is part of a simulation so no real money (the fact that im not so confident about my investment and secondly i dont have that much money). neway, im hoping there ewill be a higher than expected return for the three companies. and great virtual profits :)
